You are not just a diagnosis

Pain and injury can make life feel smaller.

When pain keeps you from working out, playing with your kids, sleeping well, recovering from surgery, or simply moving with confidence, you do not need a generic exercise sheet. You need someone to listen, identify what is driving the problem, and guide you step by step toward lasting progress.

I do not know what is causing my pain. I tried rest, medication, or exercises, but it keeps coming back. I feel rushed or overlooked in traditional healthcare. I want to get stronger, not just temporarily feel better.

Meet Dr. Drew Taylor, PT, DPT

As the founder of Prolumen Physical Therapy, my mission is simple: provide the kind of physical therapy experience that I would want for my own family.

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2019 and have spent more than 15 years helping people improve their health, performance, and quality of life through strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and movement-based care. Throughout my career, I have worked in outpatient orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care, giving me experience treating everyone from competitive athletes to older adults striving to maintain their independence.

I hold certifications in Dry Needling and the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and I have a special interest in helping active adults, golfers, runners, post-operative patients, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries return to the activities they love.

My decision to open Prolumen Physical Therapy was driven by a belief that patients deserve more than rushed appointments and overcrowded clinics. Too often, people spend more time with aides than with their physical therapist. When someone comes to physical therapy, they are often in pain, frustrated, uncertain, and hoping they have finally found someone who will listen.

At Prolumen, every patient receives individualized care built around their goals, lifestyle, and recovery journey. I believe successful rehabilitation requires more than clinical expertise; it requires trust, communication, and a clear plan that patients understand and feel confident following.

The name Prolumen means "toward the light." It reflects a philosophy that has guided both my life and my practice. Progress is rarely about seeing the entire path ahead. Instead, recovery happens one step at a time. My role is to help illuminate the next step, provide guidance along the way, and help you move confidently toward your goals.

When I'm not working with patients, you'll find me spending time with my wife and two children, running local trails, playing golf, participating in community fitness events, and enjoying life here in Cherokee County.

Whether you're recovering from surgery, dealing with a nagging injury, looking to improve athletic performance, or simply wanting to move with greater confidence, I look forward to helping you take the next step forward.
